Get Involved

There are many ways to get involved in what we do and we welcome contact from any organisation or individual sharing our vision of a safer London.

Our objective is to develop lasting solutions to the problems facing young people in London - particularly those who are at risk of or involved in crime or who are the victims of crime.

About Overview

Public sector & Third sector

We work closely in partnership with the GLA, local authorities, the voluntary sector, London Probation Trust, Youth Offending Teams, schools and a wide variety of community groups to jointly develop and deliver projects in London.

For example, our Project Manager and case workers on the Hackney Young Women’s Project are embedded within the multi-agency gangs unit in local authority premises in the borough. Part of their role is to liaise with agency professionals to identify individuals as well as work with groups at schools attended by young women identified by the police as being potentially at risk. Our local presence maximises our effectiveness in co-ordinating the various agency strands and we also provide the 1:1 care that is key to helping young women get the important encouragement and support to make change in their lives.

We are currently in the process of looking at rolling out projects in 14 of the Met Police’s priority boroughs as well as delivering pan-London projects such as YOU.matter and Youth Engagement Panels. We are therefore open to approaches from Public sector and Third sector organisations wishing to discuss their priorities and identify where we might be able to provide project advice, co-ordination and management. We are also interested in exploring possible areas of collaboration. Please contact Maria Almey.

Businesses

Work with us and show your commitment to London’s young people and invest in the capital’s future. Boost your profile with key stakeholders. This is a chance to link up with the Met Police and Greater London Authority to help address the underlying causes and impact of crime.

We are looking for business partners to support the delivery of our projects in priority boroughs across London. Help us to extend the range of our work by getting involved in fundraising, volunteering and providing practical guidance to unlock the potential of young Londoners. If you do business in London, as an employer you will benefit from helping to build a safer community for everybody who lives and works here. Get in touch to find out more about exactly how you can partner with us.
