Charity Rugby Dinner
New Scotland Yard 19 April 2010
In aid of Safer London Foundation and Hitz
Sir Paul
Stephenson QPM, Metropolitan Police Commissioner, invites you to dine with him in the company of the always entertaining Mayor of London, Boris Johnson and Martin Johnson, one of English rugby's all time greats. Other VIP guests will include luminaries of the rugby world such as Rob Andrew OBE, Jason Leonard OBE, Sir Ian McGeechan, Jeff Probyn, Graham Rowntree, Roger Uttley OBE and others to be confirmed.
The dinner will take place 6.30 PM Monday 19th April at New Scotland Yard's Peelers restaurant. The evening will feature some good natured banter between the two Johnsons, a money-can't-buy auction and the chance to be photographed with the rugby stars in attendance.

Hitz is the new Metropolitan Police rugby diversion and social inclusion project, targeting young people in London living in disadvantaged, and often hard to reach, communities. Here's a chance to see what a formidable rugby player the mayor of London is himself. This is footage from a charity match between England and Germany, featuring ex players and celebrities. In the dying minutes of the game, with England 4-2 down, Boris Johnson is unleashed from the subs bench.
This is a football match, by the way...
