Ian Barlow KPMG SLF Vice President & Senior Advisor at KPMG Ian Barlow is Senior Partner in London office of KPMG. In this role he represents KPMG in London as well as leading KPMG’s relationship with a variety of large companies across a number of industry sectors including presently, BP, The British Horseracing Board, MFI, Caledonia Investments plc and the LDA. Previously head of the UK Tax practice and before that Finance Partner he has was a Board member between 1994 and 2008. Ian himself is active in London community matters. KPMG’s community partnership activities are extensive and integral to its values and business strategy. It has won 14 major national and international awards in the past 10 years and is ranked as the leading professional services firm in BITC’s Corporate Responsibility Index. Other community activities include: a member of the Sense Corporate Development Board and Board member of the Centre for Charity Effectiveness, which has been created to help improve the management skills of charities. He is also Chairman of Think London, London’s official Foreign Direct Investment agency. Ian also chairs the London Business Board and is a member of the CBI London Regional Council and the Presidents Committee of London First. Ian is married with two adult sons and enjoys golf and horseracing where he is active as a part owner and in the administration of the sport. |

Mr Loomba received the CBE in Her Majesty the Queen’s Birthday Honours in June 2008 Business career: Raj Loomba started his business in 1964 on a market stall in Widnes, Cheshire and from these beginnings built Rinku Group, one of the most highly regarded companies in the UK fashion and clothing industry. With corporate headquarters at Loomba House, London, the Rinku Group designs and produces the Tigi-Wear, Viz-A-Viz and iZ brands which are widely distributed wholesale as well as through the Group’s own over 300 concessions around the UK. The Rinku Group also supplies major multiples with own label product. The Group employs more than 300 people in the U.K. and China and has its own factory in Delhi. The stall in Widnes where the business began in 1964 is still one of Rinku Group’s concession outlets today. Raj Loomba was born on 13 November 1943 in Dhilwan in the Punjab, India. He was educated at D.A.V. College in Julllandhar (1958-1960) and State University of Iowa, U.S.A. (1960-62). He and his wife Veena have two daughters and one son. They have three granddaughters. Raj Loomba has British nationality. |
